HEALTH SCREENING INITIATIVE / TELEHUB SERVICES
The Epe Local Government Area (LGA) in Lagos State, Nigeria, has a population of over 181,409 people. ICFA has successfully implemented free health programs in collaboration with the Lagos State Aids Control Agency (LSACA) to provide essential health services and mental health support to affected families.
Specifically, our participation is in these key areas:
FOSTERING FOR DEPRESSED FAMILIES PROJECT
This is a free Health Screening initiative that targets essential health services, mental health support, and aid to families facing life-threatening situations. The project originated during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide free healthcare, food, and shelter to displaced families in Epe, Nigeria. The initiative includes pre-health consultations and free medical treatment, specifically targeting victims of economic crises, starvation, poor living conditions, political instability, and lack of adequate healthcare.
COMMUNITY-DRIVEN TELEHEALTH / SUPPLY CHAIN NETWORK (CTS-Net)
In 2023, ICFA expanded its healthcare delivery project (formerly "Fostering for Displaced Families" Project) and renamed it to "Community-Driven Telehealth and Supply Chain Network (CTS-Net)".
The initiative aims to address healthcare needs in Nigerian communities by emphasizing community-based solutions and integrating innovative technologies to improve affordability, availability, and quality of healthcare services.
The CTS-Net Project has been specifically implemented in the Epe Local Government area, improving community access to healthcare, enhancing supply chain efficiency for medical resources, providing virtual medical consultations, and distributing medications via a local mobile clinic transportation system.
